I CAN TRACE YOUR SCOTTISH ROOTS AND FIND YOUR SCOTTISH ANCESTORS

 
Do you want to find out who your Scottish ancestors are, where they came from and what they did for a living? Do you want to learn more about your Scottish heritage? It may be something as simple as discovering old  photographs which have made you wonder about your family.  Genealogy has become increasingly popular and you can use the services of an experienced genealogist to assist you with tracing your Scottish family tree by accessing the official records in Scotland.

I am based near Edinburgh, in West Lothian and provide a professional and friendly service. I am a member of council and accredited researcher of the Association of Scottish Genealogists and Researchers in Archives (ASGRA), which guarantees a professional service and adherence to a strict Code of Practice.

I am on the committee of the West Lothian Family History Society where I am the research co-ordinator.  I assist at family history roadshows which are held locally and write articles for our journal - The Oak Tree.

I have compiled the material for classes in "Tracing Your Scottish Family Tree" which were held locally.

I am a member of the Scottish Genealogy Society and as such have access to their many resources.

I have undertaken a great many commissions to trace Scottish family roots and produce personal family histories for clients at home and abroad. I am proud that a great number of my clients have stated that they look on their family history pack as a treasured family heirloom which can be passed from generation to generation.  Many satisfied clients have complimented me by returning to have other branches of their family traced.

I am also asked to complete research for clients who have an interest in specific aspects of their Scottish family history or family tree and need some professional assistance.

Using my experience I will research your Scottish family tree to create an interesting and unusual presentation package. Previous clients have commissioned a family history for retirement presents, anniversaries, special birthdays or for their own pleasure and information.
